Guiding Principles

High Standards: We uphold and are accountable for the standards of VAQ-136, our community and

the Navy – Gauntlet “Standard”.

Trust: Demonstrate trust through action and communication. Assume the best. Believe in your

shipmates.

Communicate: Clearly transmit and receive up and down the chain of command.

Integrity: We own our actions. This character is foundational to our organization and can only be

lost through a decision to deceive. Mistakes can be tolerated when admitted with integrity.

Ownership: This is our organization. Only we can make it great. We do so by observing opportunities

and taking appropriate, decisive actions.

Family: We work together and we play together. We grieve and celebrate together. We are a family.
